If I...Challenge at Colorful Creations

For the If I.. challenge over at Colorful Creations I created this page as a tribute to my son Marcus who served our country proudly as a member of Army Special Forces.

The journaling is a song by Dustin Evans

If I Die Before You Wake

Back home now I know you're prob'ly sleeping,
Over here it's the middle of the day.
I finally found some time to write a letter,
Sittin' here a half a world away.

I heard about all them folks protesting,
As if I really want this war.
But that don't stop me from believing
There's just some things worth fighting for.

And if I die before you wake,
I pray the world will take
A good look at what God's given us.

If we could only understand
Everything is in His hands.
All we need is a little faith and trust.
I want you to know it ain't too high a price to pay
If I die before you wake.

Tell everybody that I miss them,
and I can't wait to get back home.
Until then, I'll serve my country
and be proud to wear this uniform.

And if I die before you wake,
I pray the world will take
A good look at what God's given us.

If we could only understand
Everything is in His hands.
All we need is a little faith and trust.

I want you to know it ain't too high a price to pay
If I die before you wake.

No, it ain't too high a price to pay
If I die before you wake.

"Everything is in His hands "

World Changers * Colorful Creations Blog Challenge #4

One person can change the world. There are all types of people who have changed the world so dramatically that they have ended up in the history books. They have come from different places, times, and backgrounds. World changers can be just about anyone--from a steadfast politician working to secure world peace to an average man or woman who demonstrates remarkable bravery.

Join me over at Colorful Creations Blog  for the World Changers Challenge that I am hosting. The challenge will run from September 1 - 14th.

The challenge is to create a page honoring a person who has inspired you by making a difference - someone who changed the world for the better.

Let us see what famous or well-know person has inspired you.  Here is a layout of honoring MLK, a person who has been an inspiration in my life as well as many others:
